On 10 November 2025, at the European Studies Conference 2025, SHINE 2Europe, presented the HERA project, as an example of projects dedicated to empowering women aged 45 and over through re-skilling and lifelong learning.
Juliana Louceiro discussed how HERA fosters gender equality and inclusion in the labour market.
HERA offers self-help groups, innovation hubs, and training sessions tailored to women’s needs, combining AI-based learning tools with community mentoring. The initiative also delivers policy recommendations to improve access to quality jobs.
