The HERA Consortium has successfully delivered the Train the HERA Labs Facilitator Workshops, preparing facilitators to implement the HERA Labs for women aged 45+ across partner countries. Two workshops were held: an online session on 23 July 2025 and a face-to-face workshop in Larissa, Greece, from 23–25 September 2025, hosted by iED at JOIST Innovation Park.

The training introduced facilitators to the HERA Labs methodology, Learning to Learn modules, the Community Portal, and the Impact Measurement framework. Participants engaged in interactive activities, group discussions, and practical exercises, building confidence to guide women through safe peer-support spaces, co-creation in Living Labs, and links to Innovation Hubs for skills, resources, and employment opportunities.

The workshops fostered collaboration among partners, created a shared understanding of facilitator roles, and ensured all participants are equipped to implement the Labs consistently in their local contexts. Next steps include recruiting participants, planning Lab sessions, and using the impact measurement kit to track progress. All HERA Labs are scheduled to be completed by early August 2026.
The workshops mark a key milestone in empowering women across Europe through reskilling, learning, and community-driven innovation.
